Dear dear Annette,
I just want to thank you again for Broadway Dreams. I know you probably feel like you are going insane this week making those schedules but know that what you are doing for those kids and young adults is a truly spectacular thing. It will stay with them all their lives. Because of this camp I was able to pursue my dreams and I since graduating have gotten many callbacks including West Side Story Broadway! I booked Aida as Nebraska and understudy for Aida which I just finished in South Carolina and today I was notified that I got a callback for American Idiot on Broadway! I just want you to be reminded of how much BDF really inspired me and how there would be no BDF without a strong woman like you behind it! Thank you again love!!

My daughter was one of the first students to join this fabulous company back in 2005, and from the start it has been everything they promised and more.  There are many workshops and camps out there that promise everything about being on Broadway but this company differs in that they do what they say!

They bring the best there is on Broadway today, a faculty that knows the ropes and share and instill a realistic and challenging approach.  Every member of the faculty is someone who brings out the best in these talented children by sharing the good and the bad - not sugar coating what the real world expects from them. Yet they are nurturing, encouraging and give these students the tools they will need to make it if it is what they aim for.

Every workshop has been a memorable and positive experience for my daughter Christina who is 18 and off to Berklee School of Music in Boston in September. She has made wonderful relationships with many of the faculty and students and all share an interest in helping this kids aim for their dreams and achieving them.

It is very refreshing to see people who have made it in the professional world that don't forget who they are and where they came from when they were just starting out. It is truly a team oriented environment where every one there is made to feel like a star, whether you are or learning to be one!
My sincere thank you and congratulations to the Founders and Board Members for their dedication and passion in helping these gifted and talented children achieve and aim to make their dreams come true.

As a college student, the Broadway Dreams Foundation has benefitted me immensely. Not only does the foundation reinforce the skills I am acquiring and perfecting at school, but it also continues to open doors that I never expected. Being able to work so closely with the all-star faculty allows me to hone my technique into the specific and motivated work that it should be. The BDF Intensive is essential for any college student wishing to pursue a career in theatre because it is giving you exposure that no other program of this stature can, as well as providing a thorough education for the "smart" performer.   I LOVE BROADWAY DREAMS!

For the past 3 years I have been a student of the Broadway Dreams Foundation and I can undoubtedly say that the Performing Arts Intensive is by far the BEST summer intensive for ANYONE that is serious about Musical Theatre, let alone, getting to Broadway. The networking opportunities that were presented to me and the many other students are second to none.  During this week long program, I was able to work with Broadway professionals on the stage and get to know them personally off of the stage and built personal relationships with them all. I can honestly say that my chances were heightened when I auditioned for University of Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) for Musical Theater because so many of the faculty are alumni of the program and they willingly put in a good word for me. Through this camp, I have picked up many good rehearsal habits and I cannot express in words how helpful the workshops and classes that are made available to the students are. In these classes, students are able to ask Broadway professionals about their own personal roads to Broadway and students can even share their audition pieces with the faculty for feedback and take classes on telling the story of the song, or selling the song in an audition, or making sure the song selection is accurate.

I could go on for hours writing about Broadway Dreams Foundation and the Performing Arts Intensive and how amazing the program is, but from me to you, student to student, this is a camp that you must experience. There are no other programs like it and there are no other camps that will give you the infinite opportunities as the Performing Arts Intensive will.  Broadway Dreams Foundation is all about making Broadway Dreams come true (hence the name) and if you are serious about Musical Theatre and Broadway, they can make your dreams come true too.

I believe that for any committed and passionate adult professional in the performing arts, there's something very inspiring about working with gifted young people that share that commitment and passion.  They have a special way of inspiring the teachers to give beyond 100% and the overall experience blesses everyone involved.  This certainly describes what I've felt working with the Broadway Dreams foundation in Atlanta for the past 3 years.  It is a camp that is unique for providing the opportunity to work on a personal level with professionals in various areas of musical theater.  The wisdom that the teachers provide in those areas only enhances the growth and development of the student performers, making the camp an invaluable
learning experience in their lives.

I'm not completely sure, but it's possible that the students have blessed me much more that I've blessed them!

This year I went to the BDF Intensive knowing that I wanted to do theatre, but not quite sure about alot of things involving the business. However, during just one week I made incredible networking opportunities, got taught by some of the most incredible teachers (from not only LA and NYC, but also locally in Atlanta), and took part in an incredible show where we got to put all of our new found knowledge into use!! I had such a blast at camp, and I am so excited about next year and working more with the amazing BDF founders and teachers!!

My daughter has been involved with Broadway Dreams foundation since its inaugural class in Atlanta 5 years ago.  It has been an amazing experience to come alongside Broadway stars, casting directors, and agents to experience first hand the realities of the Broadway dream.  The opportunity to network with people who are “really” in the know is something I haven’t found any where else. The faculty, all of these years, has been amazing!!! Kind, informative and encouraging.  There are all kinds of experiences out there to get training and education but, especially for the serious student, this is a chance to perform alongside next years Tony award winners, and be seen by the best of the best.  I am so grateful for the heart and soul of this organizations leadership to provide this opportunity for our kids.

As a parent of a child very involved in the performing arts, I can’t begin to express what the Broadway Dreams Foundation and camp has done for our family.  My son first auditioned in the spring of 2008 to attend that year’s camp.  From that moment Broadway Dreams has set us on a path that is enabling my son to fulfill his dreams.  At that audition, he was encouraged, to audition for role of Michael Banks, in the upcoming National Tour of Mary Poppins.  BDF explained the process to us and told us what to do to prepare.  To make a long story short, my son was invited 6 months later to come to NYC for the final callbacks.  Although, it went no farther than that, it was an incredible experience.  During the summer prior to this, my son attended the camp and performed “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!” with Gavin Creel who played the role of Bert in London’s West End.

It’s hard to believe that just a little over a year ago, while doing community theatre; we didn’t know that an opportunity such as what the Broadway Dreams Foundation provides existed in Atlanta.  Both my son and my daughter attended this year, and we all learned so much from the incredible workshops and classes for both students and parents that are offered during the week.  These include everything from learning about the audition process to how to prepare for a college degree in musical theatre.   This all comes with the incredible opportunity to perform alongside true Broadway Professionals.  The Broadway Dreams Summer Intensive is something you don’t want to miss!

Wow!  What an outstanding performance we experienced on Friday night.  The students, professionals and parent volunteers did a great job.  Thank you for making it happen as we realize it took a major commitment.

We are very appreciative of the scholarship awarded to our daughter, Audrey Wright.  She learned a lot from the professional instructors, plus enjoyed meeting and making new friends throughout the week.  Because of this experience with Broadway Dreams, she is interested in pursuing dance for her future in addition to studying voice and acting.

Thanks so much for inspiring and creating opportunities for young people to pursue their dreams.  We truly believe Broadway Dreams Foundation is a wonderful organization.

Kudos to you and your staff!  You are an angel; my daughter Tomi has never experienced working with so many professionals at once like this.  She has learned more about herself and has gained confidence in pursuing her dreams.  She understands better what it takes to get started in this business.  She has already visited a school for new classes and sending out her new headshots that you’ve provided.  The “Sunshine” has literally been let in to her life, all because of you.

In closing, on behalf of Tomi and my entire family, we appreciate you giving us this opportunity to experience such a wonderful week.  A humongous THANKS for providing the scholarship for Tomi to attend; she would not have been able to participate otherwise.

Prosperity to you and the My Broadway Dreams Foundation,

You gave me and incredible opprotunity that I will never forget and I am honestly sooo happy about coming. I wouldn't have changed one thing. Thank you for believing in me and giving me that extra boost of confidence I needed to push me out into the business. I love everything about my experience and I'm so excited for the future. I'm also excited to come back and see you guys next year. Again thank you for your support and genuine care for all of us. I'll miss you!

It’s so rare that anything lives up to your expectations nowadays.  The adage “if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is” has informed the mindset of many a “struggling artist” in this the 21st century.  I can honestly say that I went to Broadway Dreams Foundation with an open mind and an open heart and got back so much more than I could have possibly put in.  The opportunity to have your talents guided by, critiqued, nurtured and showcased with the best that Broadway, and by my estimation America and Humanity, has to offer is not to be passed on by any young artist who has aspirations of making it as a professional.

As participants, interns, faculty and staff we laughed, sweat, thought, danced, sang, and yes in the end cried together.  We made art together and hopefully during our performance made the world a better place for our audience together.  It was not always easy, but it was always worth it, and we always knew that.

On a personal note, as a young actor recently out of college navigating the terrain of the industry had quickly become more than I thought I could handle. Most college graduates in the arts will tell you that regardless of the stellar arts education they receive there is a monumental gap in that education that does not deal with the realities of the business of show.  I was sending away for Graduate School applications in Sociology and Law when I came across the audition notice for Broadway Dreams.  What this program offers in terms of real world answers and advice regarding the arts industry is invaluable and crucial for young performers.  I’ve now realized that a career in this field is possible if you work hard and SMART.  This component to the program really distinguishes it from any camp and makes it a Professional Development Intensive; of which there are not many available.

I could go on forever but I really have to thank all involved with the Broadway Dreams Foundation for making this opportunity available to us.  As a Philly Boy the chance to work and perform at the Kimmel Center is a dream come true in itself, let alone along side the best in the biz.  I am certain that the program will continue to grow and I certainly count myself as a proud alumnus.

The real life experience and guidance that your staff provided is a missing ingredient in many other musical theatre programs out there.
